are eight full lessons in
this 110 page teaching unit on weather science, representing
over fourteen hours of science teaching. Every
lesson offers a coordinated teaching plan with a step-by-step
guide, and lists materials
and pre-preparation tasks necessary to teach
the lesson. Each Weather Zone lesson
also details the learning outcomes,
key concepts and vocabulary introduced.
For
educators who wish to delve deeper into topics, or who want
to integrate the science of weather into other areas of the
curriculum, ideas are offered for extra
assignments and supplemental learning activities. Finally,
